Im having the best time here in Alabama!!

Yesterday i was on the lake all day riding the boat and the jet ski's - totally amazing!!!  the four horses my cousin has are gorgeous and tomorrow were going to this water park place.  the weather is so nice.

this summer is going awesome. xoxoxo

Im in a really good n happy mood!!!

I spent last night and allll today with leanna and we watched the oc all day and it was awesome. i love my best friend!!! shes deff. hooked on the oc, but i mean who isnt?!?! -best show ever!!!!!

well i had volunteering but i only stayed for like an hour n a half then went out to get last minute stuff for alabama and target has the cutest mini shampoos n lotions n i just had to like get everything. lol

i never realized that people would "actually" miss me ... like most of my best friends are wishing me a safe trip and that just really makes me soo happy lol - i totally love all my friends.

anyways, ill probably be updating when im in Alabama cuz she has a computer there so i would keep checking this.

woo. idk if im happy or sad.

all i know is that i deff. wasnt ready for this year to be over!!

the past weekend was okay. saturday chilled n parents went out and i decided to stay home. then sunday went shopping with mom like all day - and finding bathing suits was seriously a major pain. but ended up getting two b-suits n shorts.

Then drove my dad n mom to my family friends house and met up w/a bunch of people from my family for a small w/e type of gathering for my birthday, my dads, my cuzs, n my aunt. yep-a lot of gemini's.

then this morning woke up around 8 and drove my dads bmw to school and it probably was the best yet so far.  waited in the libary for about 20mins with anna n senem. then went and took my spanish final which blowed major! but w/e. after that i met up w/melissa - went to her locker, grab her stuff and headed to go find her moms car, but then i saw saagar and it was his last day of highschool ever!! i gave him a hug...im gonna miss him soooo much!! so then went melissa's mom pulled up and melissa drove me n her mom to applebee's and me and melissa had lunch, her mom came to pick us up and melissa drove us home - she did a really good job!! so then i was watching tv while she was on the phone w/her bf the whole time and i was soo tired n wanted to take a nap,

... but then my cousin, Mansi called me and shes like 23 in like med school to become a doctor and she picked me up at melissa's house in her 2 door sporty lexus and we put the top down and drove to short hills mall and we shopped for a long time.

We didnt get back to my house til about 7 and she came in and my dad her n me were talking about driving and w/e and then my mom came home around 8 and mansi left and i love my cousin.  i talked to her a lot about the school year and how so many people changed from last year and it was just great talking to someone who is older and has experience everything in highschool and in college and she could realate to everything i was saying.

now im just chilling at home and the start of my summer started out awesome.  tomorrow im gonna start packing and cleanning n cleanning my room up.

but i miss school - and everything about this year!

but i leave in 2 days which should get my mind clear and off things.

this past week has been amazing.

finals or exams, w/e you called them havent been that bad at all. us history was a lil hard but the terms and essay was easy, algebra wasnt that bad, considering my teacher helped me with some, bio was the easiest final in the world, drama, we had to go in and i basically was like falling asleep while watching like 3 performances on tape, lit was really easy, and now on monday i have spanish which i gotta really study for - probably start today, its gonna be my hardest.

So on weds n thursday i went driving with my driving instructor and i did very well, then i thought. And right on thrusday after i got my permit i went driving with my mom.  I changed from a little car to a huge suv trail blazer. Yeah it was a big change but my moms truck isnt that hard to drive in.  now i drive everywhere in my moms car.  my dad plans on taking me out today to a quite place so i can get use to his car, the bmw and then tonight im going to my aunt n uncles family gathering and when we get off the highway, hes gonna let me drive the rest of the way to there house.  but driving is all with confindence. 

last night was so much fun. well at first i went to the hosptial to help out with the volunteer orientation thing for all new volunteers and let me know if you want to volunteer. i can send you the information. so then after that my mom came i drove home and then around 6 i drove to the mall to meet leanna and her mom, and we ate dinner and went to see The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and it was the most amazing movie ever! me and leanna cryed - there were some parts that were sooo sad.  then her mom drove me home around 10.

i leave for Alabama in 5 days, alone for 13days. No parents. no one from new jersey. just my 28 year old cousin n her husband n also my aunt and my little 12year old cuz visiting too from california.  Its it like exactly what i need. i had a great year - amazing year. i met soo many new people, a lot who means so much to me.  Its a really good break from everything and everyone in nj.

But do you ever feel when theres so much going on but you cant understand what is wrong and why your feeling like that? ...its a werid feeling. and ever since like this whole school ending for the past week - ive been feeling it all time time.

I was talking to lauren last night cuz she read my past xanga entry and she asked me whats wrong and i told her, she couldnt have said anything better than what she had said to me.  everything she said made perfect sence and im seriously so lucky i have her.  I really do wish she wasnt so far away in florida. but lauren thank you so much for always being there for me.  you really helped me and i know your always there for me...and of course you know im here for too - ilu!!

I have a really busy summer and i know its going to go by sooo fast. but i have to say im excited for junior year.  But what im really excited for is going to college. even tho i have two more years, that are gonna fly by us.

SWEET 16!!!!!

so yesterday, June 6th was my 16th birthday, and it was totally amazing!!  I felt so loved by all my family all over the usa and india.  Everyone in school was so nice and nicole started singing to me in speech and then everyone started too and the same thing at ritas right after school...gotta love nicole rosen!!

So on my way to school on the bus till the beginning of first period i must have got 10 calls from my family and my favorite call from leanna at 6 in the morning!! that made my day start off amazing.  Then through out the day i got other phone calls, i guess my parents gave my relatives my cell number.

I get to school and alyssa showed up and gave me my gift which i love cuz im totally obessed over mini lotions and spray purfume bottles from victoria secrets!! and it was a whole set...yeah very awesome.

The only part of my day that sucked was drama because I totally dont give a crap about drama so i didnt even bother to memorize any of my lines for the final play and this one freshman got so mad cuz i never memorized my lines but w/e, i honestly didnt care. but then today she aplogized which was really nice. 

So yeah back to my birthday - the weather was extremely hott!!!  So then right when the last bell rang i went up to the 600 building and i met leanna - alyssa and anna who all were already there and then we walked down to the 100 building and met my mom in the front of the school and then stopped at the end of the 1000building. We all ran to my locker and got allllll my freakin crap out of my locker and put it in my moms car.  I had so many binders/folders/pictures/marker board/and yeah.

So then my mom took us to rita's and then we went to anna's house then went back to my house.  We hanged out and till like 5 and it was soo much fun.  We left around 5 for Alfonso's and stayed there till about 6:30 and walked around somerville for like 20mins and ended up sitting at some werid church place? not even sure. But dinner at Alfonso's was great.  The people there came out and started singing happy birthday and we took pictures n i love my eggplant parm i got !!  So then my mom picked us up and took us to the Somerset Patriots Ballpark and the game started at 7:05 and we had the most amazing seats ever, we were right in front of the home plate...and it was fun.  Around the thrid inning they said "happy sweet 16 Melina Shah" and they said it really slow and long and then anna and leanna and alyssa all start screaming and pointing to me, yah i love them but it was def. embarssing but w/e it was awesome. 

So then it started raining and then pouring =[ my mom came and picked us up .. the car rides were freakin hillarious. "lean back" omg my mom is def. not like other moms, but i love how cool she acts sometimes. anna leanna and alyssa would only know esp. about the car ride.  So we dropped off leanna first and then alyssa.  Alyssa was running to her front door while  holding her skirt up cuz it was about to fall down and my mom me and anna were laughing so hard my mom couldnt drive for like a minute.  Then we dropped anna off.  Then went back home. 

Then later that night around 10 - a really close family friend came over and they gave me 101 dollars and omg that freaking ended my birthday perfectly!! but i really am so close with them and honestly if i ever needed to run away, which is very rare i could always run to there house and its my second home and i feel "at home" when im at there house. 

My mom got me a dozen pink roses and a balloon that i woke up to and then before i left for school they gave me my present. It was the dooney and burke purse that ive been wanting and im in love with it. My family that lives in california got me three sets of jewelry stuff that i love.

Well i gotta go study for my math final and take a shower, kinda hard to study tho when i have a lot on my mind right now.  And even if i explain it to someone idk if they will really understand - so for now im just keeping it to myself.
